It's been a while since we've posted an update! Find out what we've been up to in the Rivertowns, and how you can join us!
This Rotary year our club has been meeting frequently in person! (We did get derailed for a bit by omicron, but we're back!) Since the July 1 2021 year start we have run several service projects: a clothing donating drive for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester, packing 100 breakfasts for children in need with Feeding Westchester, a door to door food drive for the Village of Hastings On Hudson food pantry, a Christmas angels gift project for the elderly with New York State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins, and a fundraising campaign for medical equipment and a party for the residents and staff of Cabrini of Westchester nursing home! We have given our first Service Above Self award to Ardsley resident Tony Vacca, and are about to give our second! Our past-President Jean Sears was awarded her second Paul Harris Fellowship. And, we have added THREE new members! Would you like to join us at an upcoming meeting? We'll be meeting the second, third and fourth Tuesday of every month in person at Mima Vinoteca in Irvington, and occasionally on Zoom.
