At our last meeting, we met with incoming District 7230 Governor Marty Schulman!
At our last meeting, we had the pleasure of chatting with incoming District Governor Martin Schulman of the Bronxville Rotary club! Marty told us about some of his planned initiatives, including public image improvements/cohesion across our district, and financial literacy training programs for areas in need. We spoke at length about both, and we had more than one volunteer to help get a financial literacy training team off the ground!
In club business, we have reviewed scholarship applications from one of the four school districts and look forward to the interviews. We are working on upcoming programming, and several members of our club discussed an interest in affordable housing debates in our communities and how that fits with Rotary. We're in the early stages of planning for a service project in Irvington. And we have voted on a tentative end of year party/picnic on 6/28.
