Rivertowns Rotary donated over 200 Dunkin purple donuts to Mav Market to assist in their efforts to reduce student food insecurity on campus.
Why Purple? When a child is immunized through Rotary's polio eradication project, Rotarians mark their pinkies with a topical purple dye to prevent double dosages.
Because of Rotary International's efforts, polio has been eradicated in all but 2 countries worldwide. Our donations ensure that children around the world continue to be vaccinated.
In October 2024, Rivertowns Rotary donated "purple" Dunkin' donuts with all funds supporting the Rotary's Purple Pinkie Project and are being matched 3:1 by the Gates Foundation.
